Welcome Back! First week of classes and I already know that this will be an exciting and stressful semester. I am taking 18 credit hours for the first time, while holding 2 part time jobs. I am in my Junior Year, which means I have to begin thinking about where I want to go for graduate school and where I want to do my Field Placement. Wow! Thats a lot.Another exciting position I have is being a CYC Mentor for a student. This week, I met with my mentee for the first time and discussed a little about why I am her mentor and how I can help. The biggest key about meeting up was to get to know each other and be comfortable with one another. We met at the Kenwood Mall Food Court and it was pretty exciting. I am very excited to help her develop as a (Pre)Social Work Student... Yes! She is a (Pre)Social Work Student.
