Happy Fall and Happy Halloween! This week was, by fay, the best week ever. For the first time, I got to put my "event manager" role into full gears mode. Since Halloween is on a Wednesday, thus we have school, why not bring Halloween to school?! I coordinated the Halloween Bash, where students had the chance to paint pumpkins and decorate sugar skulls. Once they completed those awesome "tricks," they got to choose a delicious Fall treat. We had caramel apples, candy, and some apple cider. Once the student painted the pumpkin, they get to take it home or enter into a pumpkin contest where one winner will receive a Jack-O-Lantern, full of October Necessities. Our winner was a student, by the name of Treasure Chen... WOW! She had some artistic skills. The event was the most amazing thing I have ever planned. I am happy to say that coordinating this event has helped me professionally with communication, priorities, and so forth. All was amazing. I can't wait to plan my next event... We'll have to see what I come up with.
