Week 4 was eventful! First week for intramural sports and more. This week was my first FYE classroom visit. I got the chance to visit the exploratory class and discuss Student Life and how it changed me. Lastly, I worked an event called "Latinx History Month." The event is about the Latinx group at UC Blue Ash and how you can get involved with the group. It's called 'Latinx' because anyone can join the group, no matter what ethnicity you are. I got the chance to work with the students in the group and help them share more information about their club to the students. I was impacted when I realized what this event is about. They are big on diversity and inclusion. They want people to be aware of Latino cultures. This was the best week ever! For classes, I got the chance to further my American Sign Language and go to a deaf event, where I practiced what I knew. How cool is that?
